Steve Benedict - President
After studying business and finance at California State University, Steve has been in the salvage industry his entire career, and for over 40 years, Steve has been offering unsurpassed salvage service to the insurance and shipping industries. He enjoys the variety of cargo the company deals with and finds that every salvage situation is a unique opportunity. “I love the challenge of an unusual problem and the satisfaction of finding a solution for our clients.”
Steve enjoys all the outdoor activities the nearby Great Smoky Mountains have to offer, including skiing, hiking, and particularly mountain biking. Steve considers his wife and six children his biggest blessing and is grateful to live and work in such a beautiful part of the country.
Fritz Fiebig - Senior Vice President
With more than 20 years of experience in the financial markets, Fritz Fiebig has been an integral part of BCT for over a decade, significantly contributing to the company's growth and success. His extensive expertise and dedication have played a crucial role in elevating the company to the next level.
Fritz holds a B.S. in Finance from Northern Illinois University and is a former Certified Financial Planner. Throughout his career, he has valued the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of individuals from various backgrounds and locations.
His daughter, Grace, works for W.W. Grainger in Chicago, while his son, Lukas, is pursuing a career in cybersecurity. Fritz shares his life with his beautiful wife, Jennifer, who is happily married to him (last time they talked...).
At 55, Fritz continues to challenge his physical limits, participating in shorter triathlons, though his primary athletic pursuits are biking and swimming. Additionally, he enjoys walking and hiking with Jennifer, relishing the beauty of God's creation.
Allison Graham – Executive Assistant
With 15 years of experience in Background Screening Investigations. In addition to her expertise in investigations, Allison also has experience in Marketing.
She is known for her organizational skills and attention to detail.
Born and raised in Southern California, Allison attended college in Florida and recently moved to Knoxville in 2023.
Outside of work, Allison enjoys spending time with her dog Fern and her family. She also has a passion for cooking, cleaning, and helping others.
